Cloud Engineer III

Our client, a leader in cloud infrastructure and enterprise solutions, is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to join their team. As a Cloud Engineer III, you will be part of the Cloud Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Engineer III

Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $75/hr - $80/hr W2

What's the Job?

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services across public and hybrid cloud environments
• Build and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using infrastructure-as-code tools
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployment and integration

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native architecture principles
