Plant Manager

Large Poultry Manufacturer in Alabama is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team!

Must have Poultry experience and strong job stability!
• Follow all safety rules, company policies and be knowledgeable about GMP's, SSOP's and BRCGS Policies
• Have a positive attitude toward all company policies, rules, goals and fellow company associates;
• Verbalize company culture on a daily basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness
• Assures our quality meets and satisfies all customer expectations
• Assures effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality products
• Select, train, develop and motivate plant staff to maintain and continuously improve operations
• He/She will set production and processing goals for the plant
• Responsible for the management of food safety, legality and quality
• Maintain plant property, equipment, contracts, leases and records to ensure compliance with USDA.
• Assures compliance of all plant operations with company policy and federal, state and local regulations. Includes usages of water/sewer, ammonia, chemicals, gases and all energy sources
• Assures accuracy of operating reports to management, reporting current production status, plant cost, yield, maintenance and repairs and other variable cost.
• Complies with BRCGS policies
