RN - Infusion

Registered Nurse

The position requires working Monday through Friday, with shifts starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 4:30 PM. The nurse will care for a patient ratio of 1:7-8. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with infusion experience preferred. The role involves administering chemotherapy, triaging patients, and conducting patient assessments. Candidates should be proficient in electronic charting systems. Skills required include administering intravenous infusions, obtaining vital signs, and performing venipuncture. This position supports patients with solid tumor medical oncology diagnoses, including breast cancer, melanoma, and various other types. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy and social services, is essential. Experience with clinical trials and research patients is a plus. The role may require flexibility in scheduling, including floating to other areas if necessary. Candidates must be willing to adhere to all clinical guidelines and safety protocols. A flu vaccine is required, with no exemptions allowed. Additional skills in triage and patient teaching are beneficial for this role.
