The research associate will play an integral role in the project management, data analysis, and data dissemination of several ongoing research projects. The Research Associate will also play a key role in the development of future lab projects.Additional duties include, but are not limited to:Project meeting organization and record keepingData management and cleaningData analysis and codingData dissemination via conference presentations and manuscriptsResearch partner identification and recruitmentIRB supportData collectionWork InteractionsThe Research Associate will play a vital role within Dr. Wantchekon’s lab and research team. The Research Associate will work directly under Dr. Wantchekon and will also collaborate with her and her graduate students. Together, they will effectively advance the lab’s ongoing projects and projects in development. There will also be opportunities for mentorship with the CDSP lab’s other PIss, as well as within the broader Georgetown Psychology department research community.Requirements and QualificationsRequired qualificationsB.A./B.S. in Psychology or a related field.2 or more years of high-level research experience (e.g., experience with 3+ of the duties highlighted above)Excellent communication (written and verbal)Ability to work independently and collaborativelyPreferred QualificationsExperience with qualitative data collection and analysisStatistics training in SPSS, Stata, or RPrior coursework in identity developmental processesWork Mode DesignationThis position has been designated as Hybrid.
