Position: School Social Worker - 2 Positions Available

Location: Multi-Assigned, Department of Exceptional Student Services

Work Year: 10 months, 175 Days Specialists must participate in New Teacher Orientation as a condition of employment

Salary Range: $65,946-$118,516 ($65,946-$80,966 for external candidates dependent on experience and education)

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Job Summary: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to improve classroom management strategies or parenting skills; address mental health issues; assess, identify and work with students with disabilities; and improve emotional and behavioral strategies for all students. Coordinate and facilitate the needs of students and the school district including evaluation, counseling, consultation, crisis intervention, threat and risk assessment, staff development, research, educational planning and coordination with outside agencies. Maintain case records on all referred students
