Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • Experience with Epic is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Adult Critical Care, ED, PICU, and Peds experience required. Needs to be able to independently intubate a neonate, not just assist. NIV / NAVA. Draeger and Servo I ventilator experience required. ABG interpretation; Basic EKG. -Must have nicu exp, manager waiving picu exp requirment Preferred Skills/Experience: Pulmonary Function Test Lab experience preferred. Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). Special Requests: All previous perm employees of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Unit Details: Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population. Patient volume/load: 5 ventilators, 6-8 RVU's. Airway management devices/suctioning: Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning. Medication administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex. Medication delivery systems: Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler. Nebulizer: Cold, Hand held, Heated, Ultrasonic, T-piece, Trach collar. Ventilator management: BiPAP, Flow-by, CPAP, High frequency oscillator, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage is variable. Floating Requirements: Must be open to floating to other campuses. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
