Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS

Must-Have: Minimal to no requested time off, including summer holidays; No locals within a 50-mile radius

Description: Performs CT imaging to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation or intervention at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor that aligns with medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care techniques and recognizes patient conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures. Positions patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, while ensuring patient comfort and ability. Prepares, identifies, and administers contrast media as prescribed. Practices ongoing radiation protection for self and patients. Assists physicians with interventional procedures as necessary. Conducts diagnostic testing on equipment and performs general maintenance. Cleans, stocks, and labels supplies, practicing cost-effective use of resources. Assumes responsibility for patients' physical and psychological needs during procedures. Reviews available data, consents, charts, and other necessary information with patients or families regarding current treatments and any prior surgeries or injuries. Prepares patients for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, encourage cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Maintains cleanliness of the suite and equipment.
