General Education Teacher

We are looking for 2 talented English Language Arts Teachers. Grade Level(s) : 6th & 8th Schedule : 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, excluding breaks Caseload size : Approximately 100 students across 4 classes with a data-driven intervention block twice a week. Hourly Rate Range : $32.00–$40.00 per hour Responsibilities would include : Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and support student learning. Provide instruction in whole group, small group, and individualized settings to meet diverse learning needs. Adapt lesson plans, curriculum, and instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven decision-making. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth. Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and school staff to support student success. Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and school-wide initiatives. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) guidelines and district policies. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited program. North Carolina Professional Educator’s License (issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction – NCDPI). Experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred.
