Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN is responsible for providing high-quality, direct pediatric primary care and supporting healthcare providers through clinical responsibilities in a professional and efficient manner. This role requires proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient center-centered approach in a fast-paced medium-sized outpatient primary care pediatric practice.Advocare, LLC is a physician-owned partnership of leading pediatricians, family practitioners, and specialists in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. As a Registered Nurse, you'll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.Registered Nurse Essential Responsibilities:Provides general nursing care to pediatric patientsObtain and record patient medical histories and vital signsPrepare pediatric patients for examination and assist during exams and proceduresPerform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparationAdminister immunizations to patients of all ages in accordance to the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendationsRespond to incoming patient treatment-related phone calls and schedule patients appropriatelyPrepare, disinfect, and maintain examination and treatment roomsSupport compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulationsCollaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient carePerform other job-related duties as assignedRegistered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Required Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient careSolid understanding of immunization practicesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionallyProficient in a variety of administrative tasks including documentation and records managementHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership when neededFamiliarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems (eCW)Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionAdaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environmentCommitted to providing exceptional patient care and customer serviceDemonstrates the ability to meet performance goals and deadlines consistentlyRequirements:Must have an active RN/LPN licenseOne year of prior professional nursing experience preferredBenefits available:Salary $28-32 per hour depending on experienceMedical and prescription coverage optionsHealth Savings AccountVoluntary critical illness, cancer and accident insuranceVoluntary hospital indemnity coverageVoluntary short-term and long-term disability insuranceVoluntary term life insurance and AD&D (Accidental Death and Dismemberment)401K retirement savings plan and matchPaid time off
