Fire Sprinkler Contract Sales Position

This position's main responsibility is to sell fire sprinkler contract work including retrofits, modifications, and installations. The target market will be companies in the commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality and healthcare industries.

This position has a salary range of $75K - $85K depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of new systems, system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and outlined marketing strategies
• Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicating effectively to educate the customer about MAFP's capabilities
• Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan
• Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure we meet or exceed the expectations of our customers
• Support other MAFP Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory
• Meet the key objectives of the annual commission plan

Job Qualifications

• Five years' experience in the fire protection industry with Fire Sprinkler Contract Sales and Estimating experience is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 is preferred
• Ability to create local and distance relationships with General Contractors and end users
• Strong prospecting skills
• Proven ability to close
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Must pass a post-offer drug test, background and reference checks
