RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Contract)
Location: California 93301
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (05/11/2026 – 08/09/2026)
Pay: $2,605 – $2,917/week
Schedule:
Night Shift (12-hour shifts)
36–48 hours per week
Weekend rotation required
Floating to NICU and Postpartum (PP) as needed
Provide L&D care using nursing process; monitor mother & fetus (FHM)
Assist with deliveries and C-sections; support neonatal stabilization
Coordinate care, delegate tasks, and supervise staff
Collaborate with care team; educate patients/families; support discharge planning
Education & Experience:
BSN: Preferred
Acute care experience: Preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN License (state of practice): Required
BLS/CPR (AHA or ARC): Required
ACLS (AHA or ARC): Required
NRP (AHA or ARC): Required
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
Equipment: Fetalink, Novii wireless monitoring, ultrasound, infant warmers, anesthesia machines, PPH carts
Procedures: Primarily Cesarean Sections; occasional D&C, hysterectomy, vaginal repair
Scrubs: Provided
Call required for surgical techs only (manager discretion)
Weekend requirements vary by FTE
Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
