Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs using structured interviews and diagnostic tools to identify specific issues and identify goals. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances, preferences, and challenges. \n
- Facilitate engaging one-on-one counseling sessions to explore clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while providing targeted strategies to manage symptoms. \n
- Organize and lead group therapy sessions to foster community support and connection among clients facing similar challenges. \n
- Continuously monitor and document clients' progress through electronic medical records (EMRs) and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs. \n
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, to integrate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients. \n
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest mental health research, treatment modalities, and technology. \n
The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families within a community health setting. You will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health concerns. Building rapport and understanding the client’s life context is paramount for effective therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field is required. \n
- A valid LMHC license to practice in the state of New York is essential. \n
- A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client engagement. \n
- Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with diverse clients. \n
- Strong capacity for collaborative teamwork, with a focus on delivering client-centered care. \n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to USD 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
