Join Mazza Recycling as a Customer Service Representative supporting customers with waste disposal, recycling, scrap metal, and container services.

In this role, you will answer customer questions, explain service options and pricing, process orders and payments, coordinate container deliveries and removals, and keep customers updated on their service. You’ll work closely with Sales, Billing, Accounting, Dispatch, and Operations to keep customer information accurate and service requests moving smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, transportation, scheduling, supply chain, dispatch, order management, or operations who enjoys working with customers and coordinating multiple moving pieces.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and emails regarding services, pricing, scheduling, recycling requirements, and accepted materials.
• Coordinate roll-off container deliveries, removals, and front-end services.
• Keep customers informed about delivery times, service delays, schedule changes, and other updates.
• Enter roll-off orders accurately in AMCS, including customer information, debris type, pricing, and container numbers.
• Track container locations, inventory, and availability and assist Dispatch with scheduling.
• Follow up with customers who have containers for extended periods to support timely container turnover.
• Collect required account paperwork, contracts, and tax documentation and coordinate with Billing and Accounting as needed.
• Process credit card payments for roll-off customers.
• Monitor email for time-sensitive customer and service requests.
• Work with Sales, Dispatch, Billing, Accounting, and Operations to resolve customer issues and keep services running smoothly.
• Recommend additional Mazza services based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Experience in transportation, dispatch, supply chain, scheduling, order management, trucking, or operations is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests, orders, deliveries, and schedules.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AMCS or other order-management, dispatch, CRM, or ERP systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
• Ability to work every other Saturday.
• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred, not required.
