Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Maine
• Experience supporting students in a school, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention planning, and documentation skills
• Comfort collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt and support individualized education program (IEP) goals

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional needs in the classroom and develop appropriate therapy plans
• Deliver direct OT services to students, targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help, and adaptive abilities
• Work closely with teachers and special education staff to integrate OT strategies within daily routines
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements
• Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
• Communicate clearly with parents/guardians, supporting family engagement in therapy goals
• Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes
