About the role The expeditor is the link between kitchen and floor, making sure guests receive their food and drinks quickly and accurately. The winery wants a customer-first candidate who is always working to improve the dining experience and who has handled a high-volume environment before. Key responsibilities Provide excellent customer service, checking in with guests and assisting with requests. Greet and escort customers from the cashier to their table, ensuring they receive the first part of their order such as drinks, salads and bread. Set up tables through the day with linens, placemats, silverware and glassware. Deliver food and drink from the expediting station to the correct table. Check that dishes and kitchenware are clean and presentable, and report quality issues to management. Clear dirty plates, glasses and silverware to the kitchen when needed. Learn the menu well enough to answer guest questions, and stock inventory as directed. What the winery is looking for Two to three years of experience as a food expeditor, runner, server or wait staff. Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, plus knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Bilingual Spanish or Italian is listed as a plus. Pay: stated by the employer at $19 per hour.
