Appeals Coordinator

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Appeals Coordinator will manage Peer to Peer calls with payers, document information in proprietary systems, and support various departmental functions while communicating effectively over the phone. Key responsibilities Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with CorroHealth Medical Directors Document payer call information and enter account statuses into multiple databases Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals processes within the department Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Call center experience preferred Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is a plus Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to utilize formulas and manage spreadsheets Accurate keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
