Welder Fabricator

Job Summary Position Title: Welder Fabricator Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Responsibilities Set up and operate welding equipment to fabricate metal components Perform welding tasks using MIG welding Inspecting welded joints for quality and accuracy Utilizing hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components Operate a forklift to move materials as needed Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment Requirements Ability to stand throughout a 10-hour shift Ability to lift, bend, twist, push, or pull throughout a 10-hour shift Ability to complete repetitive physical labor for a long period of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a 10-hour shift Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history; please include details of your work experience on your resume At least two years of experience with fabrication and MIG welding Experience operating a forklift preferred Ability to use different hand tools and machinery Ability to accurately read tape measures and blueprints Mechanical knowledge of various metals, their properties, and welding processes About QPS Employment Group QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
