Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with 1–2 weekend days required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence
• Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using facility EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental protocols throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of California
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
• Ability to work a schedule that includes 1–2 weekend days per week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting strongly preferred
• Candidates with SNF, outpatient, or acute care therapy backgrounds will also be considered
