We are seeking a Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Alpharetta, GA, offering long-term career growth and stability.Location: Alpharetta, GA (On-site, 5 days/week)Travel: Up to 50% (nationwide project sites)Job OverviewThe Electrical Project Manager will lead multiple large-scale commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project teams while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in electrical contracting, commercial construction project management, and leading high-performing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects (preconstruction, estimating, execution, closeout)Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with responsibility for budget, schedule, quality control, and jobsite safetyDevelop project schedules, cost estimates, manpower plans, and project execution strategiesLead project teams including project managers, superintendents, foremen, and electriciansCoordinate with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and vendorsManage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor agreementsReview and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentsMonitor project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitabilityPrepare and approve pay applications, billing, and project closeout documentationEnsure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standardsIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and performance development to team membersMaintain strong client relationships and provide executive-level project updatesRequired Qualifications6+ years of experience in commercial electrical constructionExperience as a Senior Project Manager, Electrical Project Manager, or Lead Project ManagerStrong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), electrical systems, and commercial construction practicesProven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, budgets, and schedulesExperience managing subcontractors, contracts, and multi-site projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar preferred)Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%Preferred QualificationsExperience with retail construction, distribution centers, or higher education projectsMulti-state or nationwide project management experienceExperience with cost control, forecasting, and construction accountingBackground in electrical contracting or commercial electrical projectsBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (effective first of the month after hire)401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability insuranceLife insurance (company-paid and voluntary options)Long-term career growth with a stable, expanding electrical contractorApply today to join a company where you can build a long-term career in commercial electrical construction.
