This full-time remote position allows licensed professionals to provide critical support to individuals battling addiction from the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment\nThis role operates in a telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong, collaborative culture. The position primarily follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts based on patient demand. You will leverage digital tools and platforms to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and maintain communication with patients, ensuring a seamless therapeutic experience. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the unique needs and recovery goals of each patient, ensuring individualized care plans are thoughtfully developed. \n
- Create tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral strategies during individual counseling sessions. \n
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that inspire peer support and foster community among clients. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to deliver coordinated treatments and holistic care for patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support to individuals during substance-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being. \n
- Educate patients and their families about addiction, available recovery techniques, and beneficial community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems. \n
- Actively participate in professional development activities, including team meetings and training sessions, to stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment. \n
In this role, you will serve a diverse group of individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use disorders. Your approach will cater to varying levels of addiction severity, ensuring that all patients receive personalized attention that respects their unique circumstances. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, alongside a strong foundation in recovery-oriented care. \n
- Proven experience in delivering therapy—both individual and group—in a substance use disorder context. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach to patient engagement. \n
- Maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical guidelines, and ensuring patient confidentiality is paramount. \n
- Proficiency with EHR systems and relevant computer applications. \n
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment. \n

- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in mental health or substance use disorder counseling. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth protocols and experience conducting remote counseling sessions. \n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
