Days Left: 27 days, 3 hours left Apply Position Details: Position: Full Stack Java Developer Industry: Banking/Financial Services Job duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension) Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 Pay Range: $56-58/hr. Description:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java and React 18 .
- Build modern front-end applications using React 18, JavaScript, and related frameworks .
- Develop robust backend services and APIs using Java .
- Participate in the development of a greenfield platform designed to consolidate multiple existing applications.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with SQL Server for application data and database development.
- Contribute to application architecture, technical design, coding, testing, and production implementation.
- Collaborate with other software engineers, technical leads, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Follow secure software development practices and ensure applications meet enterprise security standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, functionality, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools , including GitHub Copilot, to improve engineering productivity where appropriate.
- Work effectively within a shared-resource model supporting multiple teams and managers.
- Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java .
- Strong hands-on experience with React , with specific experience in React 18 strongly preferred/required.
- Strong JavaScript development experience.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs .
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.
- Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Experience with modern software development, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.
- Ability to read and thoroughly understand technical requirements and existing codebases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive delivery timelines.
