Laboratory Medical Technologist
The Laboratory Medical Technologist performs laboratory analysis and reports results according to departmental procedures and regulations while maintaining quality control and laboratory equipment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned laboratory analysis and report accurate results
- Maintain quality control procedures and documentation
- Maintain laboratory equipment according to instructions and maintenance schedules
- Correlate laboratory results with clinical findings through chart review and consultation with nursing and medical staff
- Perform receptionist and phlebotomist duties as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to support quality patient care
