Two positions are available for a full-time, contract assignment beginning September 8, 2026, with service at a welcoming, student-focused school community near Rochester, NY. This opportunity offers an in-person role throughout the school year, with an assignment duration until the positions are filled internally.

As a vital resource for students, you’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student well-being and success. You’ll have a chance to inspire positive change, address social-emotional needs, and be an advocate for inclusive and supportive education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current New York State School Social Worker (SSW) certification is required
• Active LMSW or LCSW license
• Experience in school-based social work or related clinical environments is strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and advocacy abilities
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population through evidence-based practices
• Flexibility to adapt as caseload and hours will be finalized at the end of August

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students and families
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and allied professionals to monitor progress
• Support crisis intervention, behavioral management, and counseling efforts
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Act as a liaison between home, school, and community resources
