Your Impact on Our Operations As a Counter Sales Lead , you will be the driving force behind Customer Loyalty and Sales Growth : Team Leadership: Establish clear expectations for Sales Associates, holding the team accountable for excellence in every walk‑in and will‑call interaction. Technical Sales Execution: Assist customers with complex quotes, orders, and RMAs via phone, email, and in‑person, utilizing the Prophet 21 (P21) system. Operational Oversight: Manage the physical organization of product displays and the will‑call area to ensure a professional, efficient customer experience. Financial Integrity: Oversee the accurate processing of cash, check, and credit transactions while managing tool rental procedures. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all team activities align with company policies and legal safety standards to maintain a secure working environment. What You Bring to Our Louisville Team (Essentials for Success) Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a progressive sales or warehouse leadership position is preferred. Product Mastery: Required experience with plumbing/HVAC product applications and features. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Prophet 21 (P21) , RF Scanners, and multi‑line phone systems (Zultys). Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead huddles and provide constructive feedback to team members. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day and routinely lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75+ lbs with assistance).
