Job Duties The Commercial Loan Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of clerical and other duties relating to the loan function of the Bank. The responsibilities include: Represent the Bank in a courteous and professional manner. Obtain credit reports and process credit denials according to regulations. Take loan applications, obtain credit reports and process credit denials according to regulations. Type memos, letters and reports. Greet customers and assist them with routine problems. Accept loan payments and deposits. Handle incoming telephone calls and mail. Obtain the necessary documents and legal papers for loans. Call and write letters to past due customers. Produce loan documents and renewal loans in an accurate and timely manner. May be responsible for servicing loans: payments, payoff quotes and forwards to lenders and/or clients. Maintain knowledge of banking products and services to cross‑sell to customers. Image documents into electronic filing system. Work exception reports. Set up meetings, conferences and conference calls. Proactively monitor schedules to identify and resolve conflicts and inefficiencies. Comply with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures. Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned. Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management. Education, Experience & Licenses High School diploma or equivalent (required). Associate’s degree or higher (preferred). Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (required). Minimum 1 year of loan administrative experience in commercial real estate loans (required). Preferred: Minimum 2 years of loan administrative experience in commercial real estate loans. Work Location Guaranty Bank & Trust, 3250 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460. Must live within 30 minutes of the bank's location. Physical Demands The physical demands include sitting, using hands in repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, standing, walking, and lifting or reaching with hands and arms. The employee must operate routine office equipment, perform work on a computer for 6–8 hours per day, and may need to work extended hours or travel off site. Vision requirements include close visual acuity for detailed tasks. What We Offer Compensation & Benefits: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary by location.
