Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Waterville, Maine

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a school-based setting near Waterville, ME. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 27.5-30 hours per week with learners in need of dedicated behavioral support.


As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play an essential role in promoting positive outcomes for students by implementing individualized intervention plans and closely collaborating with teachers, therapists, and school staff.


Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational environment
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a difference for students with varying behavioral needs

• Provide direct support and implement individualized ABA programs under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on student behavior and progress
• Offer proactive support to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency across environments
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and adjustment of intervention strategies as needed
