Ultrasound Technologist OBGYN - PRN

Job Description Saint Luke’s Women’s Health Plaza is looking for an experienced, caring, patient-centered Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! This PRN position will support Women’s Health Plaza as well as two other Saint Luke’s OBGYN clinics within the Kansas City metro area. Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm No Nights, No Weekends Previous experience performing OBGYN scans including anatomy scans required. The Opportunity Performing a variety of diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasounds, including assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures Ensuring quality and accuracy of images for interpretation by a Radiologist or OBGYN physician (Varies by clinic) Completing worksheets and maintaining proper documentation for each study performed Communicating clearly and compassionately with patients Scheduling and coordinating tests as needed Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Required Graduates 2017 or later must also have Associate’s degree Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required Minimum 1 year experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound Reliable, adaptable, and professional Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working independently Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, OB/GYN - RDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Job Details PRN Day (United States of America) Saint Luke’s Health System includes 18 hospitals and campuses across the Kansas City region, home care and hospice, behavioral health care, dozens of physician practices, a life care senior living community, and more.
