Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic educational setting near Wilmington, NC. This position offers both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) the chance to work full-time—37.5 hours per week—providing teletherapy or onsite services to a diverse pediatric caseload. With manageable caseloads typically ranging from 45 to 50 students, you’ll be able to create individualized treatment plans while collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active North Carolina SLP license or eligibility (ASHA CCC or CFY candidates welcome)
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-based populations
  • Familiarity or interest in teletherapy platforms and technology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a school environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in elementary and/or secondary settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate progress documentation
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student success in the classroom
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
  • Implement both onsite and teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Monitor and adjust therapy approaches based on student progress and needs
