Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked national law firm seeking a 3rd to 6th year Corporate Debt Finance Associate to join its Atlanta Georgia office. This is a transactional opportunity for a finance associate who enjoys sophisticated debt finance work and is comfortable managing multiple deal timelines while delivering responsive client service. The firm offers a respected national platform, strong deal flow, and a collaborative Atlanta finance team with meaningful partner interaction and exposure to complex commercial finance matters. The Opportunity The role focuses on corporate debt and commercial finance matters, including syndicated lending, secured transactions, and cash flow credit facilities. The associate will support key workstreams across drafting, diligence, closing execution, coordination with clients and opposing counsel, and management of multiple active transactions. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a 3rd to 6th year Corporate Debt Finance Associate with: 3 to 6 years of finance experience involving syndicated lending, secured transactions, and commercial finance matters including cash flow credit facilities Excellent academic credentials and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining careful attention to detail and high quality work product Admission to the Georgia Bar required Ability to provide a resume, representative transaction list, and law school transcript as part of the application process Experience in private debt or private credit matters strongly preferred Why This Opportunity Stands Out This role offers the chance to build a focused debt finance practice within a structured Am Law platform, with consistent exposure to sophisticated client matters, direct responsibility on deal components, and access to attorneys who are active in complex lending and secured transactions.
