About the Position

Description

An outpatient clinic in Canandaigua, New York is seeking a Pain Management Physician to provide interventional pain services in a structured ambulatory setting.

This role involves evaluating patients with chronic pain conditions and performing advanced interventional procedures including epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal cord stimulator trials. Physicians will work alongside clinical support staff and utilize Epic EMR for documentation.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with office call responsibilities only.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks
• Conduct medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation procedures
• Perform sacroiliac joint injections and trigger point injections
• Conduct spinal cord stimulator trials
• Interpret imaging studies and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with clinic staff for coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Qualifications

• MD or DO – Pain Medicine or related specialty
• Fellowship training in Pain Medicine required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
• Active New York Medical License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years post fellowship experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Call: Office call only after hours and weekends

Assignment Duration: 26 Weeks
