Role & Responsibilities We are Hiring: SAP Architect Finance (FI) Location: India Contract: Initial 1year Fixed Term Contract (extension possible) Experience: 8–16 years Dormer Pramet is looking for an SAP Architect – Finance (FI). Main Responsibilities Act as the solution owner for SAP Finance (FI) architecture, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions. Design and architect SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, covering core areas such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Financial Closing. Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into robust financial and cross-functional solutions. Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI and other modules (MM, SD, CO) as well as external systems. Lead solution design, effort estimation, and architecture governance for finance-related initiatives. Drive standardization and adoption of SAP S/4HANA best practices and finance innovations. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements across geographies. Support implementation of electronic invoicing, tax reporting, and compliance solutions. Provide architectural guidance during project execution, including design reviews, testing strategy, and deployment. Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting. Maintain documentation for solution architecture, integrations, and financial processes. Preferred candidate profile Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI), with exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and/or support projects. Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and their integration with MM (Procure-to-Pay cycle). Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and their integration with SD (Order-to-Cash cycle). Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts, including General Ledger (GL), sub-ledgers, and financial closing. Experience designing and supporting cross-functional integrations (FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-CO). Basic understanding of global taxation and compliance requirements in SAP environments. Awareness of localization needs, including Brazil taxation concepts, is an advantage. High-level awareness of ongoing Brazil tax reforms (e.g., transition to VAT-like models such as CBS and IBS) is a plus, but not mandatory. Exposure to SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and/or e-invoicing frameworks is beneficial. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and data model. Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, IDocs, middleware, SAP Integration Suite). Basic ABAP debugging skills and familiarity with financial data structures. Exposure to SAP Fiori applications, along with awareness of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Excellent Communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams. Experience in Agile and/or hybrid project methodologies.
