We are partnered with a leading global hedge fund seeking a Risk Manager to join the firm's Central Risk team in New York. Here, you will play a key role in supporting the firm wide risk function, working closely with senior management, portfolio managers, and strategy specific risk teams to provide independent risk oversight across the platform. The role offers exposure to a broad range of strategic risk topics, helping to assess the impact of macroeconomic, geopolitical, and firm-wide events. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and enhancement of the firm's enterprise risk management framework. Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, assess, and monitor key risks across the business. Deliver risk reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate emerging risks through scenario analysis and provide actionable recommendations. Collaborate with investment, risk, and business teams to strengthen risk oversight across the platform. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in market or portfolio risk within a buy‑side environment. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios. Ability to communicate risk insights effectively to senior stakeholders. A strategic mindset with the ability to balance big‑picture thinking alongside technical analysis.
