The posted compensation range of $28.64 - $34.04 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

As our Phlebotomist, you will obtain blood, urine, and culture specimens from patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric, according to established procedures of Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and State and Federal Regulations. Performs clerical functions and routine repetitive specimen testing under direct supervision of a licensed technologist.

Every day you will perform clerical functions and routine repetitive specimen testing under direct supervision of a licensed technologist. To be successful in this role, you must be able to properly handle patient specimens as to the guidelines specified in the phlebotomy manual and our reference manuals.

Required:

• State of California Phlebotomy Certificate (CT PHLEBOT)
• Current and valid CPR-AHA certification (CT CPRBLS)
