Physical Therapist Lawrence, MA Specialty: PT Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2500 - $3012 | Shift: Days Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents? Join our healthcare partner in Lawrence, MA, and bring your expertise to a team that values your contributions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by providing comprehensive physical therapy services. You will collaborate with residents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing evaluative and therapeutic procedures under physician supervision
- Establishing therapeutic plans with functional goals and therapeutic modalities
- Consulting with healthcare team members regarding care plans and discharge needs
- Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans to achieve established goals
- Documenting all interactions in the Electronic Medical Record
- Recommending and instructing on the use of assistive devices
- Providing education to residents and caregivers
- Collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants and other therapy professionals
- Ensuring compliance with Medicare and reimbursement regulations
- Maintaining professional development and current clinical skills
- Supervising assistant-level staff and providing mentorship to new staff
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to infection control procedures
- Meeting all licensure, certification, and competency requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred
- Active PT license in the applicable state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
