Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile environments.
• Coordinate with surgical teams for efficient operation room turnover and supply management.
• Manage and circulate in cases including general surgery, trauma, vascular, and orthopedics.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed for emergency surgical interventions, following call requirements.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and enhance team collaboration in high-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• 2-3 years of OR nursing experience required with emphasis on orthopedics.
• Experience with robotic surgery assistance, particularly in urology and orthopedics.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience in OR settings with EPIC documentation preferred.
• Ability to adapt to various shifts, including nights and weekends based on unit needs.
