• Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families, ensuring support extends beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in intermittent inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care throughout treatment.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to staying updated on the latest advances in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure in Florida as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
