- Conduct assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups using standardized tools and observational methods.
- Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate and prolonged communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to forge cohesive care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and families, ensuring support extends beyond clinical settings.
- Participate in intermittent inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care throughout treatment.
- Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in alignment with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Commit to staying updated on the latest advances in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
- State licensure in Florida as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
