Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CONTRACT - CT TECH - PFLUGERVILLE FSED (793) - 13 WEEKS - THURS-SAT 7:00A-7:30P Weekdays/Weekends; BLS, ARRT, TMB; Call 5 days a month General Comments Unit Profile : Unit Information: Location: Facility : St. David’s North Austin Medical Center Department : St. David’s Emergency Center – Pflugerville, Imaging Services Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 793 Discipline: Imaging Quantity: 1 CT technologist Target Start Date: December 18, 2023 Shift: Day shift, 7 am to 7pm, rotating weekends Call Requirements: Yes, 1 to 2 days a week Weekends: Yes, every other weekend General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 12 • Number of Staff – 5 • Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 physician, 2 nurses, 1 paramedic/PCT, 1 CT Technologist o Night Shift - 1 physician, 2 nurses, 1 paramedic/PCT, 1 CT Technologist • Type of equipment – GE BrightSpeed CT unit, GE Proteus radiology room, GE Brivo portable x-ray, Konica CR system, Fuji Synapse PACS Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • Technologist will perform CT and radiology exams • Texas Medical Board – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – certified in Radiology and CT • American Red Cross - Basic Life Support certification • Emergency room and trauma experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • CT and radiology exams typically ordered in an emergency room setting. Best personality Fit: • Must work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be a team player willing to assist with other functions outside the Imaging area. • Must have excellent customer service skills.
