Responsibilities Set goals for the maintenance team, develop organizational capability, and model collaborative teamwork. Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for the group, measuring results against company objectives. Maintain preventive maintenance programs and upgrade facilities for efficiency, safety, and reliability. Lead projects involving installation, modification, or renovation of equipment. Manage repairs, supplies, purchases, and budgets, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company standards. Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to partners, and conduct performance reviews. Communicate policy and procedure changes to client groups and the team. Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, contracts, and plant partners to satisfy customer requirements. Ensure compliance with food safety, legality, and quality programs (e.g., HACCP, GMP, AIB, 21 CFR 117). Qualifications Minimum 3 years in plant-specific quality, customer service, or cost‑optimization programs. 3 years experience in consumer products or food manufacturing, including technical or production roles. 3 years management experience and 3 years managing and developing teams. 3 years experience managing budgets and driving cost‑control initiatives. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in safety procedures and familiarity with AIB, GMP, HACCP, and relevant certification schemes (BRC, SQF, GFSI). Ability to build and sustain relationships across departments.
