Registered Nurse, Labor And Delivery (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) in Issaquah, Washington.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit features 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, providing care for patients experiencing labor and preterm labor. The chosen candidate will circulate for OB-GYN and post-op procedures, as well as engage with and support low-risk antepartum and labor-delivery patients. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative environment with a strong sense of camaraderie among staff members.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide care during labor and delivery.
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases.
• Administer blood and blood products, as well as conduct cardioversion and defibrillation.
• Manage epidural and PCA pumps, along with wound vac use.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Must have Epic charting experience.
• Charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license with compact privileges in hand at submission.
• Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
