Mammography Technologist

The Mammography Technologist is registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is responsible for correctly utilizing mammography, Stereotactic, bone density equipment and the PenRad system. This position ensures compliance to all Regulatory Requirements for MQSA, ACR and TJC. This position performs daily, monthly and annual quality control and maintains continual readiness for regulatory surveys.

Type: Full-time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period

Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p

Education:

- Associates degree in radiology technology- required

Certification & Licensures:

- Certified in mammography by the American College of Radiology or must obtain Mammography certification within one (1) year of hire date- required

- BLS Certification- required

Experience:

- A minimum of 2 years as a radiologic technologist- preferred

- Proficient in positioning patients for radiograph, mammography, and bone densitometry
