Associate Scientist, Immunology

Associate Scientist position in Pfizer's Cell-Mediated Immunoassays group focused on executing clinical assays to support vaccine development programs. The role emphasizes flow cytometry expertise, GxP compliance, and process optimization to enhance laboratory efficiency and data quality.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-throughput flow cytometry assays to characterize cellular immune responses
- Support additional immunoassays such as ELISPOT and ADCC as required
- Maintain GxP compliance and internal SOPs for all laboratory activities
- Drive operational improvements including 5S, automation, and process optimization
- Analyze and interpret assay results; present findings to team and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline
- 0–2 years hands-on laboratory experience in immunology or related field
- Collaborative team work and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with common AI tools including generative technologies
- Flow cytometry experience and understanding of scientific principles (preferred)
- Knowledge of cellular immune responses and immunology (preferred)
- Experience with ELISPOT, ADCC, or other biofunctional assays (preferred)
Compensation: $60,200–$100,400 base annually, plus 7.5% bonus target
