Structural Project Engineer

Job Description

Impact Recruitment has partnered with an internationally recognized, award-winning structural engineering firm, with multiple offices in Southern California. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Downtown Los Angeles, CA .

The Project Engineer position involves design and detailing of structural systems for large, complex structures in many market sectors, primarily Type I construction. Applicant must be able to coordinate with Revit draftspersons, architects and other consultants and will work directly with a Project Manager and a team of structural engineers in a dynamic office environment. Significant opportunity for growth and exposure to a wide variety of exciting and challenging projects.


Requirements
• 6+ years of building design experience
• Experience in a wide variety of structural materials and building types with emphasis on steel and concrete
• Experience with DSA & OSHPD a plus
• Master's degree from a US university in structural engineering required
• Strong communication and people skills, and team players required
