You will collaborate with the Catering Executive Chef to develop new menu items on an annual and seasonal basis. You will maintain appropriate par stock levels to ensure sufficient product is available while minimizing waste caused by over-ordering. You will establish production pars and determine batch cooking levels during peak meal periods and a la carte cooking levels during off-peak hours. You will ensure the proper handling and storage of all food products and consistently demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and a commitment to quality in every item you prepare. In this role, you will also be responsible for the safe and proper use, care, and cleaning of equipment, as well as securing your work area at the end of each shift. You will maintain required records, help direct production activities, and provide exceptional customer service to guests.To support WSU’s ability to attract talent in a competitive job market, this recruitment has been approved for a hiring incentive payment of up to $3,500.00.
