Travel assignment, 13 weeks, 12hr days, 36 hours a week, starting November 15, 2026.

Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,972 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20 an hour plus $1,252.31 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

ICU Critical Care/Cardiac Critical Care (Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular) in an urban setting. This role focuses on post-surgical management for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, TAVRs, and post-PCI interventions. The position involves caring for adult patients recovering from open heart procedures and other complex cardiac interventions, with a patient ratio of 1:1-3.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must have background in Critical Care/ Cardiac Critical Care, Open heart recovery experience, Post cardiac procedure recovery.
• Unit Description: 8 Beds. Patient Ratio 1:1-3. Patient Population: Post Surgical Management for Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomies, TAVRs, Post Complex PCI Interventions. Procedures include Post-Open Heart, Post-Cardiac Procedures, Surgical, Central Line Placements, Arterial Line Placements, Chest Tube Placements. Edwards Monitoring, GE Monitoring, SWAN Ganz catheters, etc.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure verification, professional profile completion, two professional references, ascension skills checklist, ascension resume, and at least 2 years of experience in ICU OH or similar specialty.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week minimum.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing post-operative care for cardiac and vascular procedures, monitoring advanced hemodynamic devices, and providing critical care management to adult patients in a dedicated ICU unit.
