Make an impact by supporting students’ unique learning needs in an onsite, contract opportunity focused on special education. Contribute to the academic and personal growth of students while collaborating in a dynamic school community near Eudora, KS. Full-time openings are available for immediate start through the end of May 2027. Work at a single location and choose from three specialized roles: middle school instruction for students with emotional disabilities, middle school support for those with functional or life skills needs, or elementary teaching for students requiring emotional disability services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Kansas Special Education Certification required
• Experience working with students with emotional or behavioral disabilities and/or functional/life skills challenges
• Familiarity with implementing IEPs and differentiated instruction
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals in a supportive and engaging classroom setting
• Employ diverse learning strategies to meet a wide range of student needs
• Create a positive, structured classroom climate and promote social-emotional growth
• Work closely with related service providers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Monitor and report progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster self-advocacy and independence in students
