Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented medical assistant to join our oncology team! Beautiful state-of-the-art integrated cancer and women's centers. Location: Gilbert, Arizona - travel to other locations required. Full-time | day shift | competitive pay + benefits.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms before and between patients
• Room patients and record vital signs and assessments
• Manage patient charts and electronic medical records (EMR)
• Handle phone calls, referrals, and patient result notifications
• Set up orders for transfusions, hospital admissions, phlebotomy, and more
• Monitor prescription folders and assist with drug replacement programs
• Coordinate special testing and physician requests

What we're looking for:

• Certified medical assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) - only candidates who currently hold a valid medical assistant certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days will be considered
• 1-2 years of MA experience in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
• EMR experience and computer proficiency a plus
• Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset and a passion for oncology care
