Requirements: BLS, ACLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for a unit with patients suffering from CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, and other cardiac conditions.
• Administer titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, and others.
• Perform bedside procedures including cardioversion.
• Collaborate with a team on a unit with patient ratios of 1:4, stretching to 1:5.
• Follow unit policies and guidelines, including dress code and floating to various med-surg, stepdown, COVID, and ER holding areas as needed.
