Restaurant General Manager

We’re hiring a General Manager for Sally’s Apizza in Stamford, Connecticut . This is a great fit for a hands‑on restaurant leader who thrives in high‑volume environments, understands hospitality at a deep level and is passionate about building strong teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. What You’ll Do Oversee all daily restaurant operations including service, labor, food quality and profitability Lead, mentor and develop managers and hourly team members Drive guest satisfaction and uphold hospitality standards Manage scheduling, labor costs, inventory and purchasing Analyze weekly P&L reports and operational performance Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and company standards Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee ordering processes Partner with training leadership to develop staff and reinforce company culture Support CRM and guest recovery initiatives to improve retention and loyalty Maintain a clean, organized and high‑performing restaurant environment What We’re Looking For 5+ years of restaurant management leadership experience Experience in high‑volume restaurant operations Strong financial and P&L management skills Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication skills Passion for hospitality, food quality and team development Familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems (Brink, 7Shifts preferred) ServeSafe Certification required Basic Spanish preferred but not required Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays Eligible to work in the U.S. Why You’ll Love Working Here Starting salary from $85,000 Health insurance and paid time off Training and leadership development opportunities Work with a respected and growing hospitality brand Opportunity to lead a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced environment Be part of preserving and growing the tradition of New Haven‑style Apizza About the Workplace Sally’s Apizza is a legendary New Haven‑style pizza brand known for its uncompromising quality, hospitality and deep culinary roots.
