Supervisor of Clinical Services (57859)

Summary Clinical Supervisor position at Phoenix House, East Hampton (Wainscott). Provide direct clinical services, discharge planning oversight, and routine supervision of clinical staff in a nonprofit substance use disorder treatment setting. Responsibilities Provide direct clinical services (crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals, and discharge planning). Assist clinical staff in developing comprehensive treatment/recovery plans covering mental health, substance abuse, education, and vocational rehabilitation. Review and approve all aspects of discharge planning. Ensure clinical operations meet regulations, Medicaid and reimbursement standards. Designate staff to perform regulatory tasks such as patient evaluation and treatment plan implementation. Conduct regular interdisciplinary case conferences. Lead workshops, individual or group therapy sessions in collaboration with other clinical staff. Facilitate open, skill-focused supervision and staff development; document as required. Oversee and coordinate patient case management with state/local social services, legal referral sources, school stakeholders, and community providers. Review clinical documentation of staff; participate or lead clinical case review processes. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling. Independent NYS license (LMSW/LMHC). Minimum five years of experience in substance use disorder treatment. Minimum two years in a supervisory role. Experience and knowledge of OASAS 820 Model and regulations.
