Summary:

We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support the Office of General Counsel of one of the world's leading global law firms. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a legal environment and a strong foundation in compliance operations, risk management, and due diligence activities. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion, and strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of complex data in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the organization and first-level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates
• Track issues from identification through resolution
• Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance
• Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of databases
• Research public records using public websites
• Perform database research and data entry
• Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support the Office of General Counsel project
• Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, and letters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced legal environment required
• Office experience in a law firm or other legal setting, supporting paralegals and/or attorneys, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, and internal clients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of complex data
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines under pressure
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to the Office of General Counsel
